Celebrate the holidays at the Bernardo Winery this year during Holiday Nights, on the 16th, 17th 18th and 19th of December. Our 120 year old Winery will be lit up for the holiday season with thousands of twinkling lights and holiday festivities for the whole family. Step back in time and celebrate the joy of the holiday season among the old world style buildings, olive trees and old fashioned hospitality of the Bernardo Winery! Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be making appearances nightly!

For four nights, the Bernardo Winery grounds will be open until 8 p.m. including the Winery tasting room, Village Shops and Café Merlot.  Local artisans and crafters will be selling their unique handcrafted items in the courtyard, everything from clothing and jewelry to woodworking and fine art.  This is a great opportunity to shop locally for last minute gifts in a relaxed atmosphere with personal service and without the frustration of busy malls. The Village Shops at the Winery have a variety of unique items for everyone on your holiday list and attentive personal service to help you find the perfect gift!

In the village shops you will find everything from women’s clothing, designer handbags, holiday décor and fine art to jewelry and watches, hand-blown pieces from the onsite glassblowing studio, home décor and fresh floral arrangements! The Winery tasting room has a beautiful selection of wines, wine related merchandise, aerators, Payne Mason cigars and wine related gift items. At Holiday Nights at the Winery, holiday shoppers can even enjoy a glass of wine while they shop the village!

During Holiday Nights at the Bernardo Winery, guests will be treated to music by local musical groups, strolling carolers as well as local choir groups.  A local horse and carriage company will be giving carriage rides through the vineyard, warm mulled wine will be available in the tasting room and hot apple cider will be served at Sweet Pea Coffee Shop along with their regular menu of coffee drinks, snack items and coffee related merchandise. A special dinner menu and selection of appetizers will be available at Cafe Merlot in their new location in the courtyard.
