June 1, San Diego Rock n’ Roll Marathon & Half Marathon
Athletes from the world over will participate in one of the nation’s premier marathons. Local bands on 26 stages and cheerleading groups will entertain the athletes as they travel along a scenic course through the city of San Diego.

June 7, 3rd Annual VC Music Festival
Valley Center MusicFest & BBQ Cookoff is an official Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned event. Approximately 50 Championship Pitmasters and their teams will travel from the western US to compete for prize money, trophies, points and bragging rights. There will be a beer and wine garden, 9 bands on 3 stages, door prizes, a silent auction and so much more!

June 7, Art Around Adams 2014
This is a 2-mile art and music walk. It’s a free, family-friendly event that will showcase an array of local artists, musicians, outrageous street performers, and interactive installations. This is a free event.

June 7, 11th Annual Encinitas Wine Festival
This annual event is a ticketed fundraiser benefiting multiple charities. Choose your charity, enjoy cuisine and dessert samplings from local restaurants plus fine wines and microbrews, and enjoy a stroll around the property. Top musicians will entertain the crowd in this relaxed setting. A silent auction and raffle are some of the evenings’ other highlights.

The air show will feature many famous legendary aircrafts plus a beer garden featuring craft beers by Hangar 24 Craft Brewery, classic cars by the Warrior Foundation, 1940’s themed dance contest and so much more!

June 13 – 15, Annual St. Spyridon Church Greek Festival
This Greek festival offers tours of the St. Spyridon Church, Greek food, music, dancing, wine tasting, games for kids and even a drawing for prizes. Refer to website for admission information.

June 14, Annual Carlsbad Beach Fest 2014
A fun-filled celebration of coastal environmental stewardship featuring live music, dancing, green product vendors, interactive booths, exhibitors, kite-flying, sand-sculpting, surfing, a massive beach cleanup, and much more!

June 14, 2nd Annual LaDainian Tomlinson 5K
& One Mile Kids Fun Run
Race to support Tomlinson’s Touching Lives Foundation. Join former Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson in a 5k or one mile Kids Fun Run. This is a family-friendly event that will include games and fun for everyone.

June 20, 7th Annual San Diego Wine, Cheese
and Chocolate Festival
Wine tastings from 30 of the best vinters, cheese and chocolate samplings of local chef s and manufacturers, live music from San Diego’s Queen of Boogie Woogie, Sue Palmer, dancing, and great people all to benefit the community work of the Women’s Museum of California.

June 20 – 22, San Diego International Beer Festival
The Del Mar Fairgrounds hosts the Annual San Diego International Beer Festival during the San Diego County Fair. Loads of breweries and hundreds of beers from around the world will be participating in this beer fest. Refer to website for admission information.

June 21, Fairy Festival in the Garden
Kiddies! Don a fairy costume (or come as you are) and celebrate summer at the Hamilton Children’s Garden. Create a fairy house, make fairy treasures, leave messages on the wishing bush, and shop in the Fairyland market. Take your camera for a picture with the Fairy Queen.

June 21 – 22, Annual La Jolla Festival of The Arts
The La Jolla Festival of the Arts is among the top rated art shows in California, featuring talented artists from the USA and Mexico. There will be art, music, street chalk art, fun stuff and food. Proceeds from the Festival support recreation programs for physically challenged San Diegans.

June 28, Freedom Days Parade - Oceanside
The Annual Freedom Days Parade features floats, bands, walking groups, cool cars and much more. Running time from beginning to end is about two hours. Viewing of the parade is available from the sidewalks along the entire route. Spectators are encouraged to bring folding chairs.

June 28, Golden Triangle Art & Craft Beer Festival

June 28, 35th Annual Ocean Beach Street Fair
& Chili Cook-off
This is a beach festival with an amateur chili cook-off contest. Highlights include live entertainment, an Artist Alley, vendor booths, beachside beer garden, children’s area, a raffle, and
much more. This is a free event.

June 28, San Ysidro Independence Day Festival
San Ysidro is celebrating Independence Day with a festival which will include staged musical performances, a car show, food, and game booths. There will be an activity area for children and a beer garden for adults. The event concludes with an evening fireworks show. This is a free event.
