San Diego will host their 33rd annual America's Finest Half Marathon and 5K walk/run on Sunday, August 15th. Beginning at the Cabrillo National Monument, the half-marathon follows scenic San Diego Bay and Harbor Island along the Embarcadero to The Star of India, winds through downtown San Diego, and ends in beautiful Balboa Park. Runners are able to see the Pacific Ocean and the San Diego Bay throughout the race-not a bad view for for 13.1 miles! All 8,000 participants will begin their run at 7am on Sunday morning.

For the 1,500 participants looking to tackle the 5K, their run/walk starts at 6:45 am. Their fast loop course remains completely within San Diego's historic Balboa Park.

And although all spots are full for those who want to enter one of the races, that doesn't mean space is full for viewers! Come enjoy the gorgeous San Diego weather and support Sean Zanganeh as he runs Southern California's premier half marathon and attempts to beat his own personal best!
