A local restaurant in 4S Commons is planning on closing their doors for a few days in August, and will reopen with a whole new name and menu. Zocalo's Restuarant will close August 3rd and will return August 9th as Miguel's Cocina, featuring award-winning Mexican food. The change will not effect those still looking for a great San Diego dining experience!

The new Miguel’s menu in 4S Ranch will feature traditional combination plates, fajitas, favorites such as enchiladas and burritos, and “From the Brick Oven” dishes such as Guava Glazed Pork Ribs and Pescado a la Veracruz. A weekend brunch will be available on Sundays, and happy hour in the lounge and on the patio will be 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday and 3 p.m. to close on Sunday and Monday.

Just like Zocolo's, Miguel's Cocina will be a member of the Brigantine family of restaurants, a tried and true chain of thirteen restaurants throughout San Diego. So despite the renovations, there is no need to worry 4S Ranch! Miguel's will still offer you a place to get delicious food, great service, a friendly atmosphere, and an all around restaurant experience you have come to love. Change can be good, especially when it results in something as tasty as this!
